Best Global Food in Magnolia

Eden Cafe has a new name—Eden Table—but the same great owners and menu we’ve always loved, just with a fresh new look. We stopped in for breakfast and, while service was a little on the slow side, the food made it worth the wait. The Cuban sandwich was fantastic, and the plantains are a must-try! I order them every time because so few places in the area serve them, and they’re one of my all-time favorite sides. The migas were tasty, though a bit on the dry side—maybe worth asking about when you order. Our son ordered the waffle with strawberries, and they didn’t hold back on the fruit. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and fairly priced. The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly, and they even offer a private space for events along with catering services. If you’ve been here before, you’ll feel right at home with the new name. If you haven’t—this is your sign to give it a try!

Our 3rd yr anniversary was well received by the owners and staff. Both the owner and son, Eric talked us. Alba our waitress was friendly and attentive. We started with the bruschetta covered in mushrooms and tomatoes. The main course of lasagna and shrimp and grits were fresh and delicious. Finally, dessert...bread pudding. We took this home. It offers space for couples and small or larger groups. We will definitely will go back for dinner and to try their breakfast

Check out the newly remodeled Eden Table! It's a perfect fit, updated, but still comfortable with great comfort food. Ulysses' hands-on approach shows through in the food and service, with the staff emulating his excellent customer service. I do work events in the private room or in the main dining room. We have nice dinners there with family, too. One of my favorite dishes is the steak medallions. There chicken Marsala is also delish. Dressings are made fresh as well as the perfect mashed potatoes and green beans. I've been going there for years and see no end on sight!
